"On 2 July 2019, our elective group (Security, Human Rights, and Development) traveled to the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe). One of the objectives of this organization is to peacefully mediate and assist countries in conflict to find a resolution. It is incredible to hear from a man heavily involved in this organization. By searching OSCE, you will find the field ops standing in the “No War” Zone between Russia and Ukraine. The field ops are unarmed; their responsibility is to record who breaks the cease-fire on either side of the conflict. It is incredible learning about this organization, comprised of 57 nations who are committed to finding resolutions to conflicts. This is a whole new world for me with a plethora of experiences that offer different global perspectives from a multitude of diverse cultures. "
